The "menina" María Agustina Sarmiento offers the Infanta Margarita of Austria a vase in Velázquez's most emblematic work, Las Meninas (1656). She wears a pair of ornaments in the shape of butterflies pinned in her hair, which inspired this exquisite headband designed exclusively for the Museo del Prado.
