Goya headband
Goya immortalised the manners and clothing of the working classes of Madrid—majos, petimetres, currutacos, pisaverdes—in the cartoons he painted for the Real Fábrica de Tapices de Santa Bárbara between 1775 and 1792, intended to decorate the Reales Sitios. The beads of this charming tiara form a design inspired by the fashions of the time.
