Goya set of 3 cases
Polyester. 14 x 23 cm (blue); 21 x 27 cm (yellow); 26 x 32 cm (red).
In his tapestry cartoons, Goya depicted like no other artist the leisure activities of the majos, typical characters of the working classes in Madrid. He did so in scenes of games, as in The Straw Manikin (1791-1792) and Blind Man's Buff (1788), and also in other gallant scenes, such as The Grape Harvest (1786). His figures are reproduced in this practical and colourful set of cases that you can keep like a Russian doll.
