The seven sea creatures depicted on the front of this comfortable sweatshirt come from one of the 195 scenes that illustrate the rich Picture of the Natural, Civil, and Geographical History of the Kingdom of Peru (1799), signed by the royal treasurer José Ignacio Lecuanda and the painter Louis Thiébaut, preserved in the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales, a complete natural history cabinet of that country.
