The painter Federico Jiménez Fernández specialised in painting domestic animals and poultry, as can be seen in the cockatoo and macaw printed on the case of this original watch, designed exclusively for the Museo del Prado, which also reproduces on its strap other details from the oil painting Japanese Jar, Fruit and Animals (1878). Water resistant, but not waterproof.
