The restoration of the Annunciation altarpiece (ca. 1426) brought out the majestic golden wings of the archangel Gabriel painted by Fra Angelico, a detail that is reproduced in this delightful silk folding bag with adjustable strap, is woven with silk, gold, silver and linen threads using the ikat technique, and is unparalleled in its exquisiteness and degree of preservation.
