Two young men on tall stilts court a young woman leaning out of a window while two boys play the dulzaina in one of Goya's last tapestry cartoons, Stilts (1791-1792). A detail of this "country and jocular" scene is reproduced against a pink background in the mount of this fan, a traditional, effective and sustainable remedy for mitigating the summer heat.
