Or that of Annushka, obsessed with understanding the incomprehensible oaths uttered by a beggar. And also the true story of how Chopin's heart arrived in Poland hidden in his sister's petticoats/ or that of the anatomist Philip Verheyen, who wrote letters to his amputated and dissected leg/ letters like those sent by Josephine Soliman to the emperor of Austria to recover his father's body, dissected like Verheyen's leg and infamously displayed at the court where he had served in life.
