The book offers the first overview of Muñoz's drawings and illustrates the works on display in the upcoming exhibition at the Botín Centre. This volume explores the artist's relationship with 18th- and 19th-century drawing, particularly in Spain. Most of the works come from institutions and collections in Europe and the United States, as well as from the Juan Muñoz Estate. The images are accompanied by essays written by the exhibition's curator, Dieter Schwarz, as well as two other texts by James Cahill and Manuela Mena.
