Arturo belongs to the fourth generation of an old family of potters and has been awarded the National Ceramics Prize 2014 and the First Prize of the International Biennial of Ceramics City of Talavera 2019. His pieces are made in the traditional way on the potter's wheel and are handpainted, with a third fring in reduction, according to the ancestral medieval technique of lustre ceramics, in the last workshop specialized in gilded earthenware existing in Manises (Valencia).

The decoration of this beautiful bowl is inspired by the textile motifs of Jaume Serra's Virgen de Tobed with the donors Henry II of Castile and his wife, Juana Manuel (1359-1362), from the Museo Nacional del Prado.
