"Asukayama hanami" mug

The rich polychromy achieved through the technique of multiple printing of coloured wooden blocks, popularly known as Cherry Blossom Viewing Party in Asukayama (Asukayama hanami) (1830-1843), by Utagawa Hiroshige and Sanoya Kihei (publisher). A special piece in the Museo Nacional del Prado's collection of Japanese prints, which decorates this delicate and sophisticated mug. Its manufacturing process makes it dishwasher proof and microwave safe.
