"The Adoration of the Magi" print
300 g Invercote G paper. Full image proportional to the size of the sheet (42 x 33 cm).
This print reproduces in detail one of the most outstanding works in the Museo del Prado's Rubens collection, not only because it is the largest but also because of its historical and technical importance: The Adoration of the Magi (Rubens, 1609). The work was executed in two stages, the first around 1608-1609, and twenty years later it was enlarged by the artist himself. It includes margins on the sides to facilitate framing.
