"Le noble peintre" notebook

This compact notebook reproduces a detail from the print Le noble peintre (hacia 1642), engraved and drawed by Abraham Bosse. This marvellous work is of great cultural and historical value as it shows life in an artist's studio in the 16th century, which is why it can be seen in the exhibition ‘Ruben's workshop’ which will be held at the Museo Nacional del Prado from 15 October 2024 to 16 February 2025. The aim of which is to show precisely what the ambience was like in which the artist produced his work.
