"The painter in his workshop" folder

This practical folder reproduces a detail from the print The painter in his workshop (circa 1667), edited and engraved by Adriaen van Ostade. This delicated work is of great cultural and historical value as it gives us an insight into what an artist's studio was like in the 17th century, which is why it can be seen in the exhibition ‘Ruben's workshop’ which will be held at the Museo Nacional del Prado from 15 October 2024 to 16 February 2025, the aim of which is to show precisely what the ambience used to be in which the artist produced his work.
