The cape, as a garment, has very ancient origins and a fascinating evolution throughout history. During the 16th and 17th centuries, the cape became increasingly ornamental. In European courts, nobles and royalty wore it embellished with embroidery, silk linings, or fine furs, giving rise to multiple variations. Both capes and mittens are depicted in works of art from different periods.

Produced in cashmere cotton, this collection has been created by Mutitaa, a social project that provides training opportunities, quality employment, and an inclusive environment for people with disabilities and/or at risk of social exclusion in Battambang, Cambodia.

Each garment reflects the work and dedication of individuals who, through Mutitaa, strengthen their autonomy and become part of a responsible and inclusive project. Behind every piece lies a story of resilience and achievement.
