The excellent relationship between the Botín Foundation and the Museo Nacional del Prado has made it possible to develop this exhaustive research project that includes the cataloging, where appropriate, of themore than 520 drawings by Goya belonging to the Museo Nacional del Prado. In addition, the studyi ncludes another 400 drawings by the artist, present both in private collections and in the funds of forty international institutions, including the Rijks museum in Amsterdam, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Fine Artsin Boston, the British Museum in London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Musée du Louvre in Paris or the Hermitage in Saint Petersburg, among others.
