"The Sense of Smell" cocktail napkin

Linen. Beige. 24,5 x 16,5 cm. Tulips motif.

Made stitch by stitch on linen fabric: handmade by master embroiderers in Lagartera (Toledo), each piece is unique. The collection reproduces lilies, anemones and tulips that evoke some of the eighty species of flowers and plants represented in the lush garden of the Infanta Clara Eugenia, imagined by Rubens and Brueghel in 17th century Brussels.

Your table will look more elegant with this delicate piece inspired by The Sense of Smell (Peter Paul Rubens and Jan Brueghel the Elder, 1617-1618), which is presented restored in the exhibition The Essence of a Painting.
