"The Sense of Smell" vase

Glass. Base diameter: 11.5 cm. Height: 23,5 cm.

This spectacular vase has been handmade in the Royal Glass Factory of La Granja, mouth-blown in a fixed mould and hand-carved. It evokes some of the plants represented in the exuberant garden of the Infanta Clara Eugenia imagined by Rubens and Brueghel in 17th century Brussels.

A beautiful vase in which to place your flowers, inspired by the work The Sense of Smell (1617-1618), the result of a collaboration between Jan Brueghel the Elder and Peter Paul Rubens.
