Goya sackcloth bag
Jute. 42 x 36 cm (27 cm handles).
In addition to being a great painter, Goya was also an excellent engraver, as the fame of his series of prints demonstrates. This austere sackcloth bag, which you can carry comfortably over your shoulder thanks to its wide handles, reproduces two well-known etchings: the Self-portrait (1797-1799), published in the Caprichos, and A Way Men Can Fly with Wings (1815-1816), the thirteenth Folly.
