The cover of this beautiful notebook features a reproduction of the wonderful portrait of The Infanta Catalina Micaela (circa 1584), by Alonso Sánchez Coello. The subject was the daughter of Philip II and his third wife, Isabel de Valois. The head shows great pictorial refinement, with a subtle chromatic transition characteristic of this painter, which gives the young woman a beautiful and delicate appearance.
