‘Patinir I’ Artist Designed Plates

Exclusive and limited edition. Produced by RISUEÑO for the Museo del Prado.

TIENDA PRADO presents everyday objects that offer a new reading of the works in the collection. This initiative allows artists to explore their creativity beyond their usual forms of expression, establishing a bridge between art and design.

In this edition, the painter and sculptor Joaquín Risueño establishes a dialogue with the work of Joachim Patinir, the master of the Museo del Prado's permanent collection who has most influenced his artistic career. Risueño's work revolves around landscape, understood not only as a visual representation but also as an abstraction of thought.

Porcelain printed in silkscreen. Suitable for food use. Dishwasher safe.

€160.00

In these porcelain pieces of simple design, the artist works as if on the canvas of a tondo on whose surface he draws the lines and shadows of his pictorial universe and his source of inspiration. Joaquín Risueño (Madrid, 1957) began his career in the 1980s. His work forms part of prominent private and public collections.

RISUEÑO is the family project, created together with his sister Ana, with which he transforms plates into canvases so that the table becomes a small exhibition.
