"Layador vasco" displate

Darío de Regoyos produced this Layador vasco (1897) as part of an album of lithographs resulting from his trips to the Basque Country. The work depicts a layador breaking up the land. Regoyos shows the effort he has to make to break up the earth and chooses the colour red to emphasise it and also to point out the risk he is running. This powerful image is reproduced on a metal plate which, thanks to its magnetic fastening system, can be adapted to any surface in your home.
