"Repairs to the Reina Victoria Eugenia" notebook
9 x 14 cm (0.8 cm spine). 64 sheets (128 pages).
Industrial photography began to be practised in the mid-19th century and, specifically in Spain, the Queen commissioned a series of photographs to show the renovation and modernisation of the country during her reign in areas such as railways, roads and ports. One of the archives that has been recovered is the one that portrays the ship repair work at the Matagorda Shipyard in Puerto Real (Cádiz), where the photograph Repairs to the Reina Victoria Eugenia (1917) was taken by Francisco Fernández Trujillo, which is reproduced on the cover of this compact notebook, which is the perfect size for carrying it with you at all times and being able to write down everything you need to note down on a daily basis.
