"Interior of a Guardhouse" t-shirt

On the occasion of the exhibition On the Reverse, held at the Museo Nacional del Prado from 7 November 2023 to 3 March 2024, the magnificent work reproduced in this practical bag is presented to the public: Interior of a Guardhouse with Saint Peter’s Denial (1596 -1674), by an anonymous 17th-century French artist, based on Leonaert Bramer. In the context of this exhibition, this work is shown due to the particularity of its support, as it is painted on slate. This is integrated into the painting as it is used in its raw state, as a background for the scene. Moreover, from its reverse side, its geological qualities can be appreciated, its schistosity, thanks to the fact that the slab was not smoothed on that side that no one was going to look at.
